About the initiative
A state-wide effort to close the gap between struggle and support
A state-wide effort to close the gap between struggle and support
Project Sanjeevani is dedicated to improving the emotional well-being, mental health, and academic potential of school children across Haryana. Led by senior authorities and expert mental health professionals, it combines structured educator training with on-ground psychological screening — equipping teachers with classroom management tools and guiding parents through professional counseling, so that no child affected by Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) or behavioral needs is left behind.
The initiative launched in Bhiwani district with a landmark assessment camp at Vidyantriksh Sr. Sec. School, under the leadership of State President RamAvatar Sharma and Bhiwani General Secretary Karna Mirg. It is now expanding across Haryana, with the long-term vision of scaling nationwide.

Project Sanjeevani builds capacity inside the school first, then follows it with professional screening — so identification and support live in the same place a child spends their day.

Teacher training — identifying SLD & behavioral challenges
Teachers in private schools are trained to independently identify and manage neurodevelopmental challenges directly within their classrooms.
ADHD
Identifying inattentiveness, impulsivity, and hyperactivity, alongside classroom management strategies.
Dyslexia
Recognizing difficulties with word recognition, decoding, and spelling to enhance reading support.
Dyscalculia
Spotting struggles with numbers, calculations, and mathematical reasoning for targeted intervention.
Dysgraphia
Addressing challenges with handwriting, spelling, and written expression.
Dyspraxia
Managing issues with physical coordination, motor skills, and daily organizational tasks.
Other behavioral issues
Tackling conduct concerns and emotional regulation challenges through early educator identification.

Following teacher training, expert-led camps bring professional screening directly into schools.

Comprehensive evaluations
Assessments cover Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and the Conduct Disorder Scale (CDS).

Detailed assessment reports go directly to parents, paired with professional counseling to help families understand and support their child's growth.

State-wide impact
Regular camps are expanding across Haryana under the same leadership that launched the program in Bhiwani, with the goal of reaching every child in need.
